presented by foundry at maison et object 2013, 'tuca-tuca' by milan-based designer elia mangia exudes a spirit of playfulness.
its structure consists of a carved and turned maple stem and a metal painted shade whose movement imitates a jackknife's blade -
allowing the lampshade to close in a flush position when not in use. warm LEDs reflect off the natural wood surface,
producing a soft illuminating glow towards the surrounding environment.
